Workshop Prerequisites

Before attending the Tampa Complete Botox® Training program, participants must complete the prerequisite instructional materials provided online. These materials, which cover key concepts such as complication avoidance and standard protocols, must be reviewed in preparation for the course. A short knowledge test must also be passed before the in-person workshop. Additionally, attendees will have access to supplemental video content, which can be viewed at any time from any device.

Agenda

Morning Session: Botox Training

• 7:45 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Registration and check-in.
• 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.: Speaker introduction, review of prerequisite videos, and overview of the day’s hands-on sessions. Q&A session to follow.
• 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Hands-on sessions with live patients, focusing on botulinum toxin Type-A products. Participants will perform Botox procedures with personalized guidance.

Afternoon Session: Dermal Filler Training (Separate registration fee required)

• 12:45 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.: Registration for the afternoon session.
• 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Introduction to Dermal Fillers, review of prerequisite videos, and overview of hands-on sessions.
• 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Hands-on sessions with live patients, focusing on HA Dermal Filler products and advanced injection techniques.

Accreditation Details

How do I become Certified to perform Botox Injections?

You need to enroll in and successfully complete training in an accredited and approved Botox Certification Course (be careful, most are not!). Empire Medical Training has certified more physicians and nurses in Botox administration than any other organization in the US or abroad! In the past 26+ years, Empire has graduated over health care professionals and has been awarded the highest level of CME accreditation for its Botox Certification Courses, the AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.

The certification process begins with an intensive didactic presentation, including protocols, guidelines, manufacturer recommendations, and Pearls from Empire’s outstanding “Celebrity” Physician instructors. After the Hands-on training on live patients, applicants will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in a variety of Botox techniques followed by knowledge testing. At the conclusion of the Allergan Botox® Training program, attendees who have completed all aspects of the training and passed the proficiency exam will be awarded their Botox Certification.
