In addition, there will be an intensive review of procedures for treating cutaneous manifestations of internal malignancies such as curettage, desiccation, electrodesiccation, excisional removal, cryosurgery and photodynamic therapies.

Essential surgical skills for Primary Care Dermatological Procedures include the review of instruments, biopsy techniques, incisional, suturing, hemostasis, and specialized procedures such as ingrown toenails, intralesional injections, and electrodesiccation and curettage.
